Last week Zach and I were discussing how crazy it is that sometimes we meet people who end up changing our lives, but in that first meeting you have no idea how important that person is going to be end up being to you. You never know when that person is going to enter your life, but you’re never really quite the same after.
For Shiane and Cameron that moment was in the eighth grade.
Of course, the eighth grade was a long time ago and life took these two in separate directions. In those years they have both overcome so much, learned a lot about who they are and finally, made their way back to one another.
With a story this special, it made my heart sing to be able to capture their unique love on camera. What made it even more special is that despite the freezing temperatures, these two snuggled up and braved the cold for their snowy winter session and I am forever grateful to them for that! We even worked the lyrics to their favorite song together, Wonderwall by Oasis into their session. Shiane looked drop dead gorgeous in a floor length red gown that popped against the white snow and Cameron looked dapper in all black. Talk about a stunning couple!
As they snuggled together under the evergreen branches their love was so evident and beautiful. I hope that in another decade they can look back on the photos from this session and celebrate how far they’ve come since the day they met back in the eighth grade.
Thanks for braving the cold with me, Shiane + Cameron!
Special thanks to Morgan Henn MUA for Shiane’s stunning makeup for this session! If you need a makeup artist for your wedding or special event, please contact her!
