• How will our images be delivered? - I deliver all of my images through an online gallery. This gallery will be good for ten years! All images are high resolution and you will be able to download all of them right to your computer! There is also a free app for smart phones.

  • Can we print our own images? - Yes. I always say that I am not the print police and I mean it. We live in a modern world and I am a modern girl, I understand the importance of having digital copies of your images to share with friends and loved ones and want you to enjoy them. You may print them where ever you'd like, but please note that you will also have access to print your images through your gallery. These will go through my professional printer. I can provide a price sheet for you upon request.

  • How long does it take to get our images back? - Six to eight weeks max!

  • Do you offer albums? - Yes! Following your gallery delivery I will be in touch to start planning your album should you want one. 

  • Are we able to customize our package? - Of course! No two weddings are alike and I offer a customizable package to suite your individual wedding needs.

  • How many images will we receive? - This one is tricky. It's hard to say for certain just how many images you'll get because there are a lot of factors that go into each wedding I shoot. On average I shoot between 50-100 images per hour and deliver somewhere between 600-800 high resolution images. This number will be greater if my second shooter is there with me on your wedding day.

  • Will we receive all of the images that you shot? - No. There are sometimes thousands of images taken on wedding days and that can be overwhelming! I sort through all of the images taken on your wedding day and pick only the best images. If an image is blurry or incredibly redundant, it does not make the cut. However, if it is a good image I will include it as I believe that these are your images and I do not see any reason to hold it hostage!

  • Will the images be edited? - Yes. while I do believe in keeping the images as true to life as possible, (this really helps with keeping the images classic and timeless) I do minor editing such as brightness and contrast, saturation, vibrancy and cropping. I also do occasional teeth whitening and skin smoothing as needed. However I feel that each and every one of us is beautiful just as we are and I celebrate that! I do my best to make all of my clients look and feel their very best!

  • Can we edit our own images? - No. It is my hope that after reviewing my work you feel that our tastes align and enjoy my editing style. 

  • Will we receive the raw images? - No. I see the photography process much like a painter with a blank canvas. I see an image in my head sometimes before I even take it and as an artist first, it is important to me to carry that all the way through until the end. I am super passionate about what I do and make it my priority to deliver amazing images to you and i can promise you that there will be tons of photos in your gallery!

  • What about black and white images? - Maybe it's because I learned on black and white film, but I am pretty excited about black and white photos! Some images just *need* to be black and white. But don't worry, you'll get a duplicate color copy for every black and white I deliver.


  • Will you travel? - Absolutely! With several destination weddings under my belt and a genuine love for exploring this is easily one of my favorite combinations. Plus, I offer heavily discounted rates for locations outside of the midwest!

  • Is my city covered in the area you service? - While I am based out of a small town just north of Indy, I am on the road a lot! Cities that are included in my "travel bubble" are: Indianapolis, Greenwood, Muncie, Fort Wayne, Lafayette, kokomo, Marion, Terre Haute, Bloomington, Columbus Indiana and Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio. If you aren't sure if your city is included, please just ask!



  • Are you insured? - Yep! If your venue requires proof of insurance just let me know in advance and I will see to it that they receive it before your wedding.

  • How do we book you? - If possible, I like to meet all of my wedding clients in person before booking. This will help us get to know one another and for you to ask me any questions. Following our meeting (or Skype call!) I will email you a personalized proposal with an agreement, description of services and link for online payment. 

  • How do we pay? All payments are done online. If you would like to pay by check or cash, please let me know in advance.

  • How much do i need for a retainer? - I require 25% and a signed contract to hold your date.

  • How do the payment plans work? - After your retainer is paid, I divide the remaining payments equally into monthly payments, the final payment being due 30 days prior to your wedding.


Planning Ahead

  • How long will we need for photos? - If you do not have a wedding planner, I am more than willing to sit down with you and help sketch out your wedding day timeline! I am happy to share my knowledge with you from my years in the industry. If you have a planner, I will be happy to work with them to make sure we have you covered!

  • Do you have a set shot list for weddings? - Yes and no. at this point, I have my shot list burned into my memory and know what needs to be photographed. However, that being said if you have any special requests, we will talk about these ahead of time so that I know to be aware of them.

  • Can we show you images from Pinterst that we like?  - Yes! I love to see images that you like as it helps me understand your vision. However, I do not want to copy another artist's work. I will use the images for inspiration to create something beautiful and individualized to your wedding and it's unique factors. If you trust me, I will create beautiful images for you that tell your story unlike any other. 

  • What if there is an emergency and you cannot make it to our wedding? - While I do not believe in taking sick days, if something were to happen to me beyond my control I do have working methods in place to quickly find a replacement that is just as good as (if not better) than me! I have many dear friends in the wedding photography industry and I know that i could call on them should it be needed.


About the Photographer

  • Is this your full time job? -  Yes! This is my passion, my mission and I firmly believe it is what I was put on this earth to do! 100% of my professional time and energy goes into my business. 

  • How many weddings have you shot?  - About 45 weddings and counting.

  • What do you wear to weddings? - I believe that it is important to look professional when shooting weddings. I typically will wear a knee length dress or slacks with a nice dressy top. I generally try to blend in!  Zach wears a suit.

  • Will you photograph LGBTQ weddings? - Absolutely. Love is love is love.

  • What type of gear do you have? - I shoot with two Nikon D800's and several prime lenses.

  • What style do you specialize in? - Portraits.

  • What is your favorite part of the wedding day? - This one is tough for me. just when I think i have it narrowed down - I don't. Haha. but after getting to know my clients in the planning process I believe my favorite part of the wedding day is the very end. When they hold hands and head for the door to the awaiting car. Knowing that they are heading off to start their marriage. I personally have an awesome marriage and I know how incredible it is, so seeing this couple that I have grown to care about deeply start that adventure - that's honestly my favorite part.
