Intimate Late Summer Wedding | Fishers, Indiana | Rachel + Matt

Rachel and Matt have been all over the world. They’ve enjoyed beers in Germany, gazed at the peaks of the Andes Mountains from Machu Picchu and twirled through Vietnamese waterways in basket boats. So it says a great deal about who they are that when it came time to plan their wedding they chose one of their favorite places on earth: home.

Coxhall Gardens Wedding | Carmel, Indiana | Caroline + Adam

Adam and Caroline’s wedding was one of those days that you just want to relive over and over again and I can assure you, I have done just that as I’ve sat at my desk in the early hours of the morning editing these photos. You see, there were a million special things that went into this day, but my favorite by far was seeing the pure love that poured into their wedding from every direction possible. Adam and Carrie love the special people in their lives immensely and they are loved right back. This day was a special one and I am beyond thrilled to share with you all!

The Tinker House Events Wedding | Indianapolis, Indiana Wedding Photography | Lauren + Jim

Lauren and Jim’s love story is a modern day fairy tale. A chance meeting, globetrotting and even a quirky animal side kick. (I’m looking at you, Ralston!) Together they are exploring every inch of this planet while balancing loving on their family and friends and being total go getters in their careers. Talk about a power couple! They are truly best friends and have a blast together no matter the situation.  I saw a glimpse into this while we did their engagement session last fall. It was FREEZING outside but despite the low temps, these two had smiles on their faces the entire time. In fact, that’s .. them. They radiate positivity, fun and warmth and their wedding was the perfect reflection of that.

Anderson, Indiana Wedding Photography | The Barn at Hawks Point | Meghan + Jeff

I dialed her number and held my breath. The introvert in me squirmed a little as I prepared my paper and pen, ready to take notes. Before I knew it, two.. maybe three hours had gone by and I had hardly written a thing. From the first few minutes of the phone call, I knew immediately that Meghan was an extraordinary person and even if I didn’t get to be her wedding photographer, I wanted to be her friend.

Fort Wayne Wedding | Memorial Day Weekend | Kelsey + Nick | Indiana Wedding Photography

They met by twist of fate. They both showed up late to rock climbing class while at IU (uhm.. coolest class ever!) and were partnered together by default. In rock climbing there is a phrase often used to ensure that your partner is safe and to let them know that you are there to support them. “On belay?” the climber will ask. “Belay on” the belayer will call. Total trust of your partner is required and together you work to help one another climb mountains.

Over the years I have photographed all kinds of weddings at various venues.
